I purchased a washer a year ago and the clothes come out so much cleaner than the old front loader from another brand so I decided to replace the dryer with a matching one to the washer. Should have gotten the speed queen dryer sooner. Clothes are much dryer and don't end up in a ball when drying bedding. Speed Queen is not the cheapest option but I consider the best.👍🏻👍🏻

I'm not exactly sure why I spent so much money on this unit with very little performance benefit. It's just like the old cheap LG I got rid of. Takes over 85 minutes to dry 8 towels or 6 jeans. The moisture sensor doesn't seem to work very well either on medium heat set to "dry" Leaving clothes very wet after a complete cycle and having to run another cycle.

I am so disappointed in this dryer. What is supposed to the best out there is leaving marks on our clothes. They say it's from too high of heat and use a different setting, so I can't use all of the settings it comes with?? They sent a service guy out who says it's a known problem with no fix. I love both the washer and dryer with one exception. The dryer dries the clothes very well but when I put it on regular mode when it gets to five minutes, it doesn't go any further in essence reduces to four minutes and it never shuts down. If I didn't have this problem, you would have easily received five stars.

I purchased this dryer to replace a 25 yr old MayTag that worked perfectly but looked bad! Rusty and out of date. The first dryer that was delivered did not work - it didn't dry the clothing and turned out to have a sensor problem. It was replaced with this upgraded model which is now 3 weeks old and continues to work perfectly. While I tend to be weary of too many controls, they offer the variety of options I wanted. Time will tell how great of a machine it is.

I do laundry daily. I bought my first Speed Queen in 2010. It served me well for 10 years before I moved and very stupidly. I left it behind. When the time came to buy a washer dryer in my new home I let the salesman talk me into a GE. It was the absolute mistake of my laundry life. Less than three years on that washer sounded like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! I backed up out of that dead end street by purchasing a speed queen set from my local retailer and I could not be happier. They're not cheap, but they're built to last…. And Made in America! Highly recommended… they are the best!

I like the washer and the fact I don't have to wipe a rubber gasket everytime I get done washing. Just wish it was slightly bigger. My queen comforter got a little messed up when I washed it. Otherwise, it handles all my large, heavy loads like jeans.

I've been using this dryer for two months and have been mostly pleased. The only issue I've had is that the sensor on the dryer thinks the clothes are completely dry, but they are still damp. I've had to use the timed dry feature to ensure my clothes get fully dry.

Dryer went out within 7 months of purchase

From day one destroyers had an issue. It's extremely loud. It sounds like somebody's beating the inside of the drum when you first turn it on. It has to run for 10 or 15 minutes and warm up before it ever smooths out. Had to email and call customer service many times to get any type of service at all. They send a repair person out to look at it and they were going to order rollers but on a brand new machine that never drive a single load of clothes before needing someone to take a look at it, I find that extremely disheartening. I wish I'd have just kept the old dryer we had. And but I bought both a washer and a dryer and spent around 3500$ all in for both. The machine quality is not what I expected and the service is absolutely worse than anticipated. I wouldn't recommend this brand to anyone. You might as well buy something that's cheaper. I think you'll get the same life out of the machine and it's probably better from the start. This used to be a good company but I think they sold out a few years ago. Another fun feature is the fact that every once in awhile sporadically it won't dry at all. You'll run a cycle. It may try to heat up at the beginning and then it just fails to continue to heat in. The clothes are just as wet as the moment you put them in there. It's been about 8 weeks and this dryer still hasn't been repaired or replaced. Due to the issues it has the beginning I asked for a replacement in Speed Queen refused. That's what I call. Terrible service right there.

I purchased the matching dryer to the washer. I did not even need a new dryer, but when buying the washer, I decided to buy the pair. I am happy with controls and like the "steam" idea.
